Oak is a mobile app for the people you talk with most: friends, partners, mentors, co-founders, book clubs. It listens to a conversation and keeps only what is meaningful—a sharp quote, an obscure fact or recommendation, a half-formed idea, a key takeaway—then lets the audio go.
Each conversation grows into a tree. Its topics become branches and each meaningful moment an acorn, and the names and ideas on a branch can carry links to trusted references, so a passing mention becomes something to return to.
Privacy is the product. Everyone consents before anything is heard, and the other person in a conversation agrees from their own phone before recording begins. Audio is processed as it is heard and never stored. What Oak keeps stays on your device, shared only with the person you spoke with, encrypted end to end.
Oak is in development.
